Installing a Vimpex Loop Sounder System with short-circuit isolation provides complete sounder circuit integrity. By wiring the sounder circuit in a loop instead of a traditional radial, all sounders will remain operational in the event of a short-circuit or open circuit fault.
Stratos-Micra 100 has two pipe inlets and supports a maximum of 100 metres of sampling pipe.Stratos-Micra is available with an optional ‘Piped Exhaust’ type Docking Station. This is primarily intended to allow the Stratos-Micra detector to sample from areas which may be at different air pressure to the detector location. Typical uses are for air-duct sampling and allowing the installation of the detector in under-floor or ceiling voids or when sampling from pieces of computer related equipment.

The IS FlashDome is an intrinsically safe strobe for use in hazardous areas. Certified to ATEX and IEC Ex, the IS FlashDome is designed for use in Zones 0, 1 & 2.
In order to be intrinsically safe, the IS FlashDome must be powered via an approved 28v 300Ohm zener barrier or galvanic isolator.

The Ani-Mate® animal friendly sounder uses a specifically developed low frequency tone (sub 400 Hz) that is designed to minimise discomfort to animals. The Ani-Mate® is designed to conform to the ‘silent’ fire alarm. The ‘silent’ fire alarm(1) was developed because of the need for an effective alarm signal in laboratory animal facilities which did not stress the animals every time it was tested. Small mammals in particular can be distressed by the frequency of tones emitted by standard electronic sounders and bells. It is only by using a conventional cone loudspeaker that pure low frequencies can be reproduced and thus disturbance to animals be minimised.
