The Zeta addressable input output units (ZIOU & ZIOU/230) are used to interface external equipment to any Zeta addressable fire alarm system.
It has a switch monitoring input with a 47K end of line resistor and a volt free SELV relay output. There are two versions available, one for switching low voltage (ZIOU) and the other for switching mains (ZIOU/230). As with all addressable interfaces, the outputs are controlled by the panel to which they are connected. Consequently the interfaces will behave differently on different panels, i.e. some may allow the outputs to be programmed whilst others will have a default “preprogrammed” operation.
Designed for fire detection systems requiring local indication of an individual or group of fire detectors in alarm mode, the VRLU indicator utilises an ultra-bright LED with a wide range of illumination.
Stratos-HSSD 2 embodies innovative features which depart from accepted techniques for detectors which operate at very high sensitivity. Perhaps the most important feature of the system is the adoption of a patented 'artificial intelligence' known as ClassiFire-3D. This controls all aspects of the system operation. ClassiFire-3D ensures that Stratos-HSSD 2 operates at maximum SAFE sensitivity to give warning of problems earlier than previously considered possible.
